Days with my sister and her family was exactly what we needed to remember how to enjoy the summer.

With 19 kittens it's easy to forget that we also need to enjoy the sunny days and to do other things than cat-things ;-)

When my sister and her family came to us we took a week off - from computers, all "musts" and "needs" and we had a great time together with a lot of talking, laughing  and "being".

All kittens are doing fine. Pictures of all kittens are ready, but I have no time to update them homepage before tomorrow afternoon - I promise ... ;-)

May is a very busy month, it seems like all people are born in may and everything is expected to happen in may. Because of all busy days, I have several emails that I have not answered yet - I promise to do it the next coming days.

Yes !!! Ambrosia gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens, after Kokos, four days ago.

I have been very busy since then, therefor I had no time to update the homepage, take pictures of the newborns and the T-litter.

I will take pictures of the T-litter on tuesday, when they are 4 weeks old.

Here are a few pictures of Ambrosias and Kokos kittens, 2 days old.

We have named the kittens after Kokos - they have names started on K - so this is our K2-litter :-)

ALL kittens are doing fine:-)

We got one Timjan, Tistel, Tuva, Thuja and Tobak... four girls and one boy. All five had good weight between 114 and 125 grams, and all five has gain very good in weight since yesterday.

We can see the lenght of Qurrys tail on all five , they have good top of their heads, good chins and profiles. Right now I believe that the kittens got the best from both parents:-)

Dizzy - day 64

Dizzy use to have her kittens on the 63rd day, and it was 63 days yesterday - but nothing happened ;-).
She wants my company constantly, right now she sleeps on the table in front of me, but if I should live just for a few minutes, she should wake up at once and follow me.

We are so curious about these kittens, Qurrys first litter. Dizzy had 6 kittens in her first litter (D-litter), sex females, all torties - they were lovely:-). This is going to be our T-litter and I hope for a Timjan, Tistel, Tazett, Tuva - I can't find so many names that sounds more like male-names .... so I guess that it will "only" males in this litter.

Crazy-Smilla, five and a half years old, and playful and social like a little kitten. She has always something on her mind and she is so happy if I want to participate in her games. Most fascinating is all this different body positions that she has:-)

Dizzy has less than two weeks left before the kittens will be born. She explores our closets to find the best place for her kittens - it's time to take down the basket from the attic.

Sweet Dizzy .... we have never been unsucure whether Dizzy have been pregnant or not after a mating.
It's obvious about one week after the mating;-) when she starts to behave like a nine weeks pregnanncy female. She's rocking like a ship, she's looking for a nice little nest for her kittens, she is tender and she eats all the time if she doesn't sleep.
Dizzy is a super-mummy both during her pregnancy and when she's giving birth and during the kitten-period. Only 3 weeks left and we are counting the days ....

Kaktus is pregnant :-)))

We are looking forward to see her as a mother again and we keep our fingers crossed that the these kittens will be  tender and sweet as Salix and Saffran.

If everything is alright the kittens will be born at the end of april or beginning of may more info.

CH S*Fridalas Piimento

Both of them have lost some weight the last month, probably because of their spring-feelings, but yet, Pimento is quite impressive with his 7 kilos, and even if Kokos is one kilo behind, he looks almost as big as Pimento.

It's a joy to see them together in Annikas and Jans house.
At home, together with Pimento, Kokos is far from the "tiger" he can be at the shows. He is like a very patient father except when Pimento is showing a little bit TO much love and affection.

I will not try to update and write about things that happened in our cat-family during this period. But I will try to update different kind of news about our cats, offsprings, expected kittens, plans and show-results that happens from now on.

Small news... hopefully we will have kittens in the middle of april. Dizzy have been on a date with S*Fridalas Qurry and Fabia have been on a date with (N) Jatobas Cicero. See more on "expected"

Hallon - one week old

Kaktus is  pregnant *yipeeeee* - the kittens are expected about the 19th of june.

The Q-litters halfsister; Fridalas Hallon, who lives in Germany - got four beautiful kittens with the same father as the Q:s - Orlando Av Fjellheia - BIG CONGRATULATIONs Alex (Av Härjedalen) ....

.... and the Q:s halfbrother; Fridalas Humle became father - for one week ago - Also this litter has four beautiful kittens  BIG CONGRATULATION Birgitta (S*Milda Ma Tildes)

Most things that needs to be done ... for example taking pictures of the kittens .... will be done the next day or the day after - mañana - we are true Mediterraneans right now :-)

Sweet-as-suger-Malva:-))) Last one out in the M-litter, but the first one to eat and go to the "toilet" - she is so curious and she talks - like a little bird - all the time when she is playing - she is absolutely adorable - the kind a kitten who makes you smile - even when she is sleeping:-))))

I'm not sure that I have enough time to take pictures of all nine kittens once a week from now on - but I promise that I will take pictures as soon as I have the opportunity. I will inform you in the diary when there are new photos on the homepage.

We have been on a few shows (showresult) - and Humle has been on a show in Umeå (north part of Sweden) He got fantastic judgements and results. He was nominated for Best In Show both days and he got Best Norwegian Forest Cat - Total. I'm soooo proud and happy.

Digitalis came back to us in the beginning of december for her pregnancy and she will stay her during the kittens first four months. She has adapt to our family very easy there is no problem with the other cats, they are still a little bit reserved together with her, but everybody is relaxed and it seems like they have accept Digitalis :-)
